Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of SAE: Archived Bulletins of the Society For The Anthropology of Europe!!!

Soon after SAE was founded, we started a newsletter that was sent in the mail to members of SAE. The SAE Newsletter was edited by Pat Heck. It provided a list of all members with contact information in each issue, published featured articles related to Europeanist anthropology, and made announcements about conferences, resources, etc. The Newsletter was vital in establishing the field of the Anthropology of Europe.

Eventually, as we entered more to the “digital age” and everyone started to have email and internet access, our listserv H-SAE took over many of the functions of the Newsletter. The Newsletter was published from 1987 to 2000. We have digitized it to mark our 25th anniversary and you can download the issues here.
